JOHN D. BODIN
John and his wife, Colleen, reside in Bellefontaine with their children Winifred, Charlotte and Brooks. John is originally from Cincinnati while his wife Colleen (Holman) is from Lafayette, Ohio. Colleen is a guidance counselor at Indian Lake High School. Prior to joining Thompson, Dunlap & Heydinger, Ltd. in 2006, John practiced law with a larger, well regarded Dayton firm gaining experience in general and commercial litigation.
Practice Areas: trial and appellate practice; estate planning, contract law, business law, residential and commercial construction disputes, real estate matters, collections, landlord/tenant disputes, employment law, insurance law and personal injury & wrongful death. John has successfully tried and managed multiple cases in various forums throughout Ohio in addition to briefing and successfully arguing various appeals.

Southern District of Ohio and U.S. 6th Circuit Court of Appeals
